Welcome to My Freelance Resume!

If you're reading this, you're either a prospective media outlet that I'm showing my written work to, or a friend that I'm showing off my written work to. If you're the former, here's a little about myself.

My name is Justin Henry, and I've been a freelance writer since 2009. I started at CamelClutchBlog.com, writing about professional wrestling and football for Eric Gargiulo. To this day, I am an occasional contributor, particularly when a major event or pay-per-view is nearing. I've written reviews of major events, and television shows, general rants, and historical lists on the wrestling side. As for football, I've penned prediction columns and general editorials for CCB.

Also on the wrestling side of things, I'm a contributor and administrator at WrestleCrap.com, a humor-based website that has spawned three books: WrestleCrap, The Death of WCW, and WrestleCrap Book of Lists. I've written satire and event reviews for them since January 2011.

But my biggest passion is football. I love the history of the game, following the personnel moves, statistical analysis, and just about everything there is to enjoy about the professional game. Especially watching the games!

Since July 2012, I have written for FootballNation.com, and its sister site ColdHardFootballFacts.com. As of May 2013, I have written about a combined 140 articles for the sites.

Beginning in September 2012, I took over as the NFC East beat writer for CHFF. My primary duties were to write two articles a week: one previewing the games involving NFC East teams (to run Thursdays) and one post-game recap article (running Sunday night/Monday morning). I was also required to write standalone articles on Monday and Thursday night games if one of my four teams was the home team. Said articles would break down statistical analysis, using CHFF's "Quality Stats" metrics, and explain the peaks and perils of each team, whether in victory or defeat.

Other notable works at FN have included my Top 100 Quarterbacks Since 1970 series, which drew many comments, positive and negative, from fans debating my selections. Beginning in November 2012, I wrote a series of 20 articles called "NFL Coroner's Report", in which the teams eliminated from playoff contention would receive an "autopsy", explaining three ways in which their season went off course (no running game, bad defense, series of close losses, etc).

You'll find many of these works listed below, in the appropriate categories. If you're a prospective employer, I hope to hear from you regarding opportunities, just as I hope my material meets your standards.

Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoy what you see!

Regards,
Justin Henry
